The CB pair has remained together since their release in December. They had been frequenting the vicinity of the Engineer Springs acclimation pen for the past several weeks. Since the removal of the Strayhorse Pack from the Engineer Springs pen, the CB pair has been expanding their movements away from the pen.
The Hawks Nest alpha male and new mate have been held together in the Campbell Blue pen since January 27. They were re-captured after separating shortly after their first release from the Campbell Blue pen on December 11 to facilitate bonding and mating within the male's established territory. The pair remains in the CB pen and appears to be doing well.
The four-member Pipestem pack remains in the Turkey Creek acclimation pen and appears to be doing well.
Four of the five-member pack remains at Ladder Ranch as preparations are made for their transfer to a new acclimation pen on the Apache Forest. The male pup that was injured from fighting through the fence with the CB pair is receiving veterinary treatment for an injured foot. He is recovering well.
