USFWS field team reports two female wolves from the Ladder Ranch were moved to the Campbell Blue and Engineer Springs acclimation pens on November 16th. On Wednesday, November 18th, the Campbell Blue male was captured without injury and transferred to the Engineer Springs acclimation pen to be paired with the new female.

Note: The Hawk's Nest Pack was using alot of the Campbell Blue range. The Engineer Springs pen was added a few months ago. It is anticipated that there will be a short "soft" release period. Note, the "Ladder Ranch" mentioned above is the Ted Turner facility in NM. This is one of three conditioning facilities including the captive management facility at the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico and Wolf Haven International in Tenino, WA.
