So, what is all this Orcabork stuff all about? Pretty simple actually. Orcabork is one of Orca's nicknames -- as is Pugsly, Pugs, Grumpy Pugs, depending on what mood his is in at the time :-) Depending one what mood we are in at that time too, actually...
Pugsly is pretty simple. Orca as a puppy just reminded us of Pugsly Addams (from the Addams Family for those who are socially deprived). Believe me, it fit him well.
Orcabork? No he was not named after a previous Surgeon General, borking at Wolf Park is a verb, not a noun and Orca, well, Orca sometimes needed a good borking* He would also get noogies from time to time, but he liked those a little bit tooo much.
*To Bork, Noun, To place ones hand over a canines nose (well any nose will do, but we usually refrain from borking other species) gently, but rapidly squeeze the nose and say "BORK" "BORK" "BORK" "BORK" "BORK" until the animal sneezes.
